Old El Paso and Totino's will soon sell their own versions of ramen noodles, General Mills said in a news release on Tuesday, Mar. 11. The instant dishes will appear at Walmart stores in April.

General Mills said "the internet went wild" in January after hearing rumors about the noodles based on Totino's Pizza Rolls.

"We know our fans are constantly looking for exciting new ways to enjoy their favorite flavors," said MC Comings, a business unit director for General Mills. "Think melty, saucy Totino's Pizza Rolls vibes mixed with the brothy goodness of ramen. And if Tex-Mex is more your style, Old El Paso's got your back with bold, spicy flavors that'll wake up your taste buds."

Totino's lovers can enjoy ramen noodles in either cheese or Buffalo-style chicken pizza flavors. For Tex-Mex fans, Old El Paso will offer a smoky, cumin-spiced fajita ramen and a rich, slow-cooked beef birria flavor.

General Mills said TikTok helped inspire the odd mashup of foods. The app has more than 174 million posts dedicated to creative combinations based on instant ramen.

Old El Paso and Totino's ramen noodles will also be available to order on Walmart's website.
